Run the program under your association's name. Someday Paper operates the infrastructure behind the scenes.
For state press associations & newsroom networks
Someday Paper turns members' daily reporting into a sponsorable audio edition and the distribution channels they don't have the staff to run. Offer it across your membership as one coordinated program.
Why it fits your mission
Associations exist to strengthen local journalism — and increasingly, to help members meet funders' expectations on reach and revenue sustainability.
Someday Paper is a concrete program that does exactly that: new sponsorable ad inventory and a new audience for every participating newsroom, with no added headcount and editorial control kept in-house.
Instead of each member contracting a vendor alone, you run one coordinated relationship — a vetted channel for them, a tangible member benefit for you.
The network offer
Run the program under your association's name. Someday Paper operates the infrastructure behind the scenes.
Members connect by CMS or RSS in coordinated cohorts — not one slow contract at a time.
You hold a single agreement and one point of contact. Members get the product without negotiating procurement alone.
What each member newsroom gets
Every participating newsroom can run the Daily Audio Edition — their day's coverage as a sponsorable 5–10 minute podcast and smart-speaker brief — plus Archive Q&A and the Repurposing Pack. The Daily Audio Edition is the wedge: net-new ad inventory at near-zero added cost.
A network rollout changes none of the safeguards. Nothing publishes without a newsroom editor's approval. Audio can use a consented clone of the newsroom's own voice. Each archive stays on a private, dedicated instance and never trains a shared model. Someday Paper augments member newsrooms — it never reports, decides, or replaces journalists.
Program pricing
Someday Paper's pricing shape carries straight into a network agreement — sized to your membership and the products in the program.
Step one
One-time setup per newsroom to ingest archives and connect each CMS or RSS feed, handled in coordinated cohorts. Waived for pilot members.
A monthly managed service per newsroom. Commercial members: a low base fee plus sponsorship revenue-share. Grant-funded members: a flat fee that fits a grant line.
Scope a network quoteWhere required
Dedicated, isolated infrastructure for members with strict data-residency requirements.
Network pricing is scoped per engagement — we'll work out the right structure with you and your members during planning.
